The banquet hall got its start back in 1937 when it opened as The Rialto Theatre, hosting the premiere of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." As the second-largest theatre in town, The Rialto Theatre enjoyed success for years at a time when a trip to the theatre only cost you two dimes. Unfortunately, the theatre started to decline with the rise of television and closed its doors in 1955.
However, where one story ends another begins. The Rialto Theatre has been transformed and rebranded into a local event space with room for 300 people sitting or 700 people standing. The best place in north east Missouri to have your event. I've been to several events here and the staff is incredibly helpful they are very flexible with design, catering, set up and break down. I don't know what the capacity is but it seems like a couple hundred could be accommodated parking is very easy and close.
